Hunkered down in Nashville, we rode out the first few weeks of COVID - okay month - in Nasvhille with Ben's cousin. I delighted in the rest. It was difficult coming back from South Africa to sheltering in place in such luxury and ease. My prayer is that I would steward the generosity the Lord has shown me with others. I'm so thankful for my family, my ministry team, and all of God's provisions. May I be faithful.
As the quiet days lingered, I used the time to think outside the box, write, and realign. We quickly developed some family rhythms and the time together revived me. In the midst of uncertainty and a sense of normal slipping through my fingers, I developed a routine of simple habits that I could control and it made all the difference.
